We’re Tony and Tina. We grew up in Southern California and met while working for a large foodservice design firm where we shared our love of the hospitality industry.
Shortly thereafter, we developed and grew Design Perspectives into the successful family run business it is today.
In the early years, it was just the two of us, hand drafting construction documents and working out of our home office. As our company grew, we relocated a few times, made vast advancements with the help of technology and have been supported by an amazing team of talented and caring people who we are proud to have a part of our family.
Currently, our office is in the heart of San Diego County, but we also work remotely and around the world when necessary or as our hearts desire. 😉
Our company culture is all about creativity and collaboration with some fun sprinkled in for good measure, and we have created an environment that supports these goals.
Since our work can be demanding, we love creating opportunities for our team, past and present, to dine, and plan parties, events, trips and excursions together for enjoyment and education.
And, while each of us come from different backgrounds which contributes to our unique, diverse and open office culture, we have one important thing in common: we have all worked in the hospitality industry.
As designers, we believe it’s important for us to know how our client’s businesses operate from the inside out as well as their challenges and successes in making a living. We feel this knowledge is invaluable to our design process.
